As matters stand, there is no basis in law for the police to enforce the political order of express wish of the prime minister.
The people of Greater Manchester have been directed by the elected elite to accept the word of a prime minister who has a track record of misinformation, who supported his own advisor to do what the establishments seeks to restrict.
This is what a police state is like. It’s a state in which the government can issue orders or express preferences with no legal authority and the police will enforce ministers’ wishes.
The community must work together to promote health and well being for all.
