0161 Festival are saddened to hear that lifelong Irish Republican Oglach Val Lynch Óglaigh na hÉireann, has passed away.
We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends and comrades.
Oglach Lynch was a revolutionary socialist, he always made time for everyone. He would give his last bit of money from his pocket or the shirt off his back to those who were in need, such was his compassion for the people.
He remained active advancing the cause of Irish Republican POWs through Príosúnaigh Phoblachtacha Na hÉireann
